Annapurna Marathon is an international high altitude adventure sports event. This event is planned to held on 3rd June of every year. This event starts from Mt. Annapurna Base Camp, Machhapurche Base Camp, Deurali, Himalaya, Dovan, Bamboo, Sinuwa, Bhanuwa, Chhomrong, Taulung Danda, Durbin Danda, Ghurjung, Chuile, Tadapani, Bhaisikharka, Sitkai and Ghandruk village (ending point). This event marks the historical ascent on Mt. Annapurna first by Late Maurice Herzog and his team from France on 3rd June 1950. So this edition is very magnificent event. Runners from all walks of life take part in this event – from highly professionals to new runners. Annapurna Marathon is not just a running event it is truly a once in a life time experience. We hope that a gleeful and adventure moments for runners.
The organizer of Annapurna Sanctuary Tourism Festival 2019 is proud to launch this unique event on May 31 to June 03, 2019 in Ghandruk.
